40-49%3 pts

30-39%2 pts

0-29%1 pt

• Best 7 subjects INCLUDING Life Orientation
• Life Orientation IS included but has a different scale (max 4 points)
• English and Mathematics receive +2 bonus points: NSC 8=10, 7=9, 6=8, 5=7, 4=4, 3=3, below 30%=0
• LO APS: 8=4, 7=3, 6=2, 5=1, 4=0, 3=0, 2=0, 1=0
• Other subjects: 8=8, 7=7, 6=6, 5=5, 4=4, 3=3, below 30%=0
• Any subject below 30% scores 0 APS points
