Students who train with Chefs Training and Innovation Academy (CTIA) receive either the national Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) certification, the international City & Guilds qualification or both depending on the courses taken. For instance, students who complete the Diploma in Patisserie course graduate with certification as follows:
Occupational Certificate: Chef, NQF5
City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts (8064-01)
City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Patisserie (8064-02)
City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts and Supervision (8064-06)

- Visit the CTIA website at https://ctia.co.za/
- Click on the main menu and select ‘Programmes’
- This opens up a pop-up menu; select full-time, Part-time, Online or Short courses as preferred.
- Click the ‘view now’ button on the preferred course
- Scroll down to ‘The nitty gritty’ section to view the specific certification information for the particular course or programme
