The purpose of Research Capacity Development grants is to create an opportunity to strengthen capacity development and ensure the ability to produce scientific knowledge for the advancement of health. The portfolio focuses on research funding programmes that help fast-track and transition early career scientists and mid-career scientists to independent researchers.
