As you embark on the new semester, all lectures and some tutorial classes will be delivered online. Please refer to your timetable and access all e-Lectures and e-Tutorials.
E-LECTURE
During the scheduled e-Lecture, you are required to login to Blackboard, click on the module to go through all the e-Lecture learning materials (content & activities). Your attendance will be automatically marked if you access your e-Lecture during the scheduled e-Lecture week.
E-TUTORIAL
During the scheduled e-Tutorial classes, you are required to login to Blackboard to access a URL to attend the e-Tutorial and/or go through the learning materials. Your lecturers will facilitate the e-lesson synchronously (online face-to-face) using Zoom. In an online face-to-face class, you are required to participate in learning via Zoom.

Blackboard Learn™ is a type of Learning Management System (LMS) designed to provision and deploy e-learning content. There many types of LMS’s out there. You will hear your friends in other polytechnics use other types of LMS’s but they’re all designed to do the same thing: manage the e-learning experience of students.
In Blackboard Learn™ you will be able to:
- Learn by interacting with course materials like documents, videos, interactive activities, etc.
- Share learning by posting on blogs, forums, chats, wikis, etc.
- Attend virtual lectures and interact in real time with your lecturers/tutors and classmates.
- Receive and submit assignments.
- Take tests and quizzes to assess yourself and be assessed.

How Do I Log In To Blackboard Learn™ ?
You can access Blackboard Learn™ through the login page at:
Try it now! Click the link to go to the login page and enter your student email (your Office 365 username e.g. 123456A@mymail.nyp.edu.sg ) and your Student Portal password to login. Go to the next section after you have logged in.
