Lenmed’s story began in 1984, over 37 years ago, when a group of doctors took it on themselves to raise funds and build a healthcare facility, in the south of Johannesburg, catering to the communities of Lenasia, Soweto and surrounds, who were marginalized by the Apartheid regime of the time. Today, Lenmed operates 12 hospitals across South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana.
The programmes provided by the College will enable students to earn credits as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) thereby allowing them to transition to additional qualifications and/or transfer and accumulate credits obtained from our programmes.
Accreditation and Registration
All nursing qualifications are accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Council on Higher Education (CHE) and the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
