Here are the 3 easy steps to check your SSS loan balance online at the official website of SSS. The process is almost the same as when viewing your SSS contribution online. This is hassle-free since it will only take you less than 5 minutes to accomplish plus you do not need to leave your home.
Step 1: Go to www.sss.gov.ph , then proceed to member login
Type in your SSS User ID and password. Then, submit. The login process is needed whenever you want to view your personal records such as your SSS contributions, loan balance, and benefits eligibility online.
Step 2: Hover your mouse to “E-Services” tab
When you hover your mouse under E-Services, a dropdown menu will show up. Giving you choices such as “Request Records,” “Flexi-fund Enrollment,” “Submit Maternity Notifications” and others. Since you want to view your loan balance, proceed to “Inquiry.”
Step 3: Hover your mouse to “Loans” tab
While at the “Inquiry” page, hover your mouse at the “Loans” tab. A dropdown menu will again show up. Among the available options, choose whether you want to check your “Loan Status / Loan Info” or “Educational Loan Status / Info.”
Under the “Loan Status,” you will see your loan application details such as borrower’s SS number, your name, type of loan and its application status. It will also show you loan types that you have availed since you became SSS member.
Note: Since I was not able to process any loan application, that note is what I saw when I try to check my SSS loan balance online.
