Home Based Personal Care Worker

  • Level 3 or Grade 10 Certificate (minimum). Please note: if you want to progress to a 1 Year Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing you will need:
  • Senior Certificate with no lower grade subjects (before 2008),
    or a National Senior Certificate endorsed with entry into Higher Certificate Studies (after 2008)

Home Based Personal Care Assistant

  • Level 2 or Grade 9 Certificate (minimum). Please note: if you want to progress to a 1 Year Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing you will need:
  • a Senior Certificate with no lower grade subjects (before 2008), or a National Senior Certificate endorsed with entry into Higher Certificate Studies (after 2008)
