  • Home Based Personal Care Worker: Home Based Carers provide supervised care and support to patients and their immediate family’s/household members in the home and appropriate community-based settings in order to promote, restore and maintain a person’s maximum level of comfort, function, and health including care towards a dignified death.
  • Home Based Personal Care Assistant: Home Based Care Assistants provide basic physical and emotional support to patients. They work under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor. This qualification allows the learner to work as an assistant home-based carer and focuses predominantly on practical aspects of care.
  • Basic Life Support And First Aid Procedures (First Aid Level 1): This course equips learners to assess an emergency situation and perform the necessary basics to sustain life while awaiting emergency services’ intervention.
  • Basic Firefighting: On successful completion of this course, learners will be capable of identifying, containing, preventing and extinguishing different types of fires by operating basic firefighting equipment.
  • Emergency Preparedness And Response: This course enables learners to distinguish between various types of emergencies and incidents and explains different emergency alarms, procedures for responding to these alarms and the processes to be applied in an assembly area after an alarm.
