African Academy Achitecture

This course introduces students to the architectural profession, helps them understand the broader context of the built environment and aids them in becoming architectural technology specialists. A qualified learner will be able to:

• Work as a Candidate Architectural Draughtsperson.
• Have a holistic understanding of the built environment.

Admission Requirements:

  • NQF 4 Drawing Office Practice or
  • N4/5 Multi Drawing Office practice or
  • Grade 12 (competency in English language, Mathematics & EGD

The selection procedure consists of proof of the above qualifications / reference and an interview to confirm suitability, aptitude, and experience.

Full time for One year (120 Credits)

Basic Draughting Course Fees

R 32 000.00 
R 3 000.00 deposit, and the balance payable in 10 equal installments.

Additional Costs (Books, Kts, Etc.)

Student packages on the software (AutoCAD Revit) and prescribed textbooks are additional. Text books not included in price. Books usually range between R 1 500.00 and R 2 000.00. Drawing-kits also available at additional cost of R 750.00.
