The first part of the Course deals with some aspects of hydrology and the factors that affect soil erosion. Methods of conserving soil and water in the field are also covered. The second part deals with irrigation and drainage. The methods of water application, water requirement estimation, source and quality of water for irrigation are covered. The methods of drainage are also covered.
